Does anyone here uses your Z4 as a everyday drive?

I'm thinking getting one. As a sport car, I wanna know if it's uncomfortable or something. Please write your opinions. Thank you.

I would say about 99.8% of people who own a z4 use their car as a daily driver. You want a sports car....Look into one of the M models.

I use mine as a daily drive but I only drive about 8,000 miles a year. I am 6'2" tall and find my Z4 very comfortable with plenty of leg room.

I beg to differ with your opinion. I would guess only about half of Z4 owner use it as a DD. I only drive mine on weekends and a few road trips per year. I have owned it about 13 months and only have 3000 miles on the odometer. However, it is very comfortable. I have driven over 350 miles only stopping for lunch and gas with no problems.

I know about six z4 owners and they all drive it everyday but most of them have a garage queen on the side.

My daily car. My wife has her car (an Audi A6) but the Z4 is my only car. Very comfortable, can't wait to drive it every day for commute, chores, etc.

It's my daily driver as well, I'm 6'4" and it's very comfortable for me. I've driven 9,300 miles since July 2010. Originally I kept my other car to have when I needed more room but found with my wife's SUV I didn't need a second car.

My 2009 35i is my daily driver, but I work from home, so I only have 18,000 miles on the car in the 21 months its been on the road. (relatively low mileage)

Plus, my fiance has an Infiniti EX35 for her daily driver that I use when it rains or if I'm headed to Home Depot for bigger stuff.

Plus, she does not like driving in the 35i with the top down if it is under 80 degerees, and I like the top down almost all the time, so she wins that battle and we wind up taking the EX35 out to breakfast/dinner or shopping most of the time.

I would think days in AZ under 80 would be some of the most comfortable days to go topless. I've had my top down to temps as low as 48 degrees (ZCW )

I go top down, down to 50 degrees (windows up and heat on if its in the 50's) The fiance does not like the cold, and cold to her is under 80 degrees.

Mine is a daily driver too. It is much more fun to drive than our Sequoia or Accord. Our 328iC is fun to drive and is more comfortable, but not nearly as much fun as the Z4. The Z4 is the closest thing to a go-cart that BMW offers and they are a blast to drive! (And surprisingly, for such a small car, they actually do have a pretty decent trunk. I find it to be plenty practical as a daily driver.)

Sunny in Seattle? I thought that was only the second and third week of August.

Non DD, especially with the amount of snow we had during the winter. The final blow is the gas price at 4.65/gallon now.. I drive it maybe twice a week. Last yr had 6000 miles.

Definitely not a daily drive for most people...that's BS if u believe that! It is comfortable though. Very nice drive, but as a daily drive it's only good if you have lumbar support sport seats (which I don't have). You really need that, as the cabin is quite cramped. I use mine as a daily drive, 32mpg

All personal preference as well. Some (like myself) find the Z to be an outstandingly comfortable sports car that is just as well suited as a daily driver. Some, well not so much. Take a nice long test drive and do consider the sport seats, they make a huge difference in comfort I found since they have adjustable side bolsters as well as lumbar support..
