I hope I can still come to the event and maybe see if my buddies dad is going with the X5, but I applied for the RAP program and I don't know if I'll be working that day or not.

Do we have a count of how many cars are going to be there yet? I'm thinking about organizing a convoy from Vancouver.

hey update time incase anyone is interested

Thanks to SpencerT for his help pulling the engine out of the junker and the rest of the parts swaping.

engine is in, suspension swapped over. electrical is almost done.

paint under the hood and man does it look good.

might show up still in primer though running out of time. but atleast i will get there.

if you have ever thought about swapping an 87 2.5l into an 84 318 plan for more time than i have allowed the chassis is not the same, its looks close but there are minor differences that take a long time to get switched over., rad monuts and coolant tank brackets need to cut out and then welded in.
but its all worth it in the end,


yeah water pump and timing belt get here monday and should be running by tuesday early evening and then its all gravy after that.

I know what you mean. I'm a bit confused myself as to when to arrive and where to park.

My 04' 325i doesn't get driven this week. It stays in the garage and I work on the detailing every night. Hopefully it doesn't rain on Saturday.

well this totally sucks

due to my job i will not be able to attend. i was totally geared for this but my job comes first and welll its not like any normal job.

i havent had time to even work on my car in the last week.

so clem. due to the amount of work that spencer t has helped me with i would like to give him my spot, i dont know where on the list i am but i believe i was pretty close to the top to register.

dam i want to be there so bad.

next year i guess.
