Who is also on the Faust arriving NY on May 18?

I dropped off our car at the Munich airport location on April 19 and booked for shipment home on the Faust leaving Bremerhaven on May 4, due into NY on May 18. Anyone else on this boat?

Me. I dropped my 335i xDrive coupe off at Munich Airport on the 21st.

The Faust left Goteburg yesterday; on its way to Southampton.

I think it stops off in Zeebrugge first. Still on track for NYC on the 18th.

You're right; I guess I got a bit over eager.

The Faust just left Southampton. Slowly getting closer.

You would think that having done before I would be less anxious, but no it's even worse. Hopefully our cars will go through customs and on to a transport to the dealer quickly. It would be nice to have our cars for the Memorial day weekend.

That would be nice. My wife keeps telling me, "You'll get your new car in time for your birthday [June 8]," so that's my target date. Anything earlier is gravy.

Assuming both our cars clear Customs and the Repair Center at the exact same time, you'll get faster delivery by virtue of being in New Jersey. The drive up to the suburbs of Boston on a car carrier adds a day or two. When my 5 Series wagon came in, I think it arrived at the dealership three days after it had been released by the government. (My wagon was one of the first 2010 5 Series cars to arrive in the U.S., so it got held up for about a week waiting for EPA certification of that model year. At least we've dodged that bullet.)

I see now we picked up our cars on the same day. What time did you do your delivery, we did ours at 9:20. Bernard was our delivery guide.

10:50. We were originally scheduled for 10:30, but they asked us to move it back by 20 minutes for some reason. We weren't going anywhere, so we said sure. Our delivery guide was Benjamin. Several videos: the and the .

Nice videos. It appears that we have entered the blackout phase of the journey, tracking says we are out of range. I guess we will reappear late Saturday on the east coast.

I just found out that my M3vert is on the Faust, also. I dropped it off on April 22 in Sindelfingen, just outside Stuttgart. Looks like she's getting close to halfway across the Atlantic!

Bummer! I'd missed that. I wonder if the current high seas have anything to do with the delay. Still, it's Thursday morning at 8, so it isn't like it's a full day lost. I'm clutching at straws....

My car is on also - I just found out a couple of days ago - now time has slowed to a virtual stop!! We dropped off on the 23rd of April so not too bad.

We are back on the map!! Off the coast of RI now.

Looks good - we're now docked in Newark. The waiting is soo hard - a few too many lights (coolant, check engine) on my e46 dash are lit, but I have lost my inspiration temporarily due to the new arrival!!

Ok, so the car was discharged yesterday and the last update is "delivered from" New York. I am not sure if that means it's on the hands of customs or what. Hopefully no damage and on the dealer next week.

My 335i vert was also on (now off) the Faust and hopefully in customs hands.

I dropped vehicle off in Bremerhaven on 4/26 (late afternoon). Based on other posters earlier drop-off sites, I guess it really helps to drop it off at the shipping port.

Now that it is in customs, does anyone know how/whether it can be tracked there, or how to find out when it left customs?

Next stop.... Performance Center re-delivery.

Any updates? I think the WW Logistics site will tell if the car has left Customs, and mine has not. Anyone else luckier than me?

I called BMW NA this morning and they told me I was still in customs as well.
