OK!! I just talked to BMW European Delivery (800-932-0831) -- my car was released out of Customs and the VPC this morning and is waiting to be put on a truck. That takes 24-48 hours, so given the Memorial Day holiday it should arrive at the dealership sometime next week.

OK, arriving at the Boston area dealership this week is starting to look dim. BMW released it to the car carrier on Thursday morning, but when I quizzed my CA via e-mail this afternoon on when the car would arrive at the dealership, his reply was, "BMW controls our destiny. Cars released to scarier." What??? I think this is code speak for, "I have no idea," but it would be nice if he would just come out and say it.

You e-mail LOGINOUT and they'll tell you. Then you can follow the ship via the shipper's web site and www.marinetraffic.com.

Excuse my ignorance... but "LOGINOUT"... I assume you are not allowed to mention any email addresses....

I have sent an email to my CA and have asked him, I have also emailed the European Program office in New Jersey..

Lets hope someone replies back..

The e-mail address for LOGINOUT is readily available on the LOGINOUT website, drop-off-munich@loginout.de.

Picked up my 335i xDrive coupe this evening, 6 weeks to the day that I dropped it off at Munich Airport. And yes, the European license plates were in the trunk.
