What if I have to leave Bimmerfest early?

Hey guys,

After 5 years of living in LA, I'm FINALLY going to my first Bimmerfest. I'll definitely join one of the caravans (probably Calabasas), but will unfortunately need to leave early/mid-afternoon. This may be a dumb question, but once I'm at Bimmerfest w/ my car, am I trapped there until a certain time? In the pics I've seen, it sometimes looks like cars are all blocked in. If I need to leave early, do I need to make sure I park somewhere specific?

Thanks!

I have the same concern. Maybe Jon S. can clarify?

You won't be locked in if that’s a concern, but it may take some time and patience to exit. 2500 BMW's and 6000 people means you got to drive real slow and wiggle around obstacles.

That about sums it up...

Back in the old days at Cutter Motors, parking on the lots meant you were there for the duration (whether you wanted to be or not)...

There is plenty of space at The Rose Bowl to get in and out...

I'm very concerned that I won't be able to get out. I HAVE to be at a wedding late Saturday afternoon but I'd really like to attend. I may just park in guest parking and forgo parking in the BMW area. Last years photo's look like it should be easy enough to leave though.
