Just for interest, who has the highest mileage R1100 ? I feel that my R1100 RT-P ex cop bike is just a pup at 115,000 KM.

According to an article in the December 2011 BMW MOA Owners News by her husband Paul, Voni Glaves (who achieved 1,000,000 BMW miles at the same time as Ardys) has 357,658 miles on her 1994 R1100RS (which she still rides).

Yes, the R1100RS is a fantastic bike (mine is a 1995) . . . good for long-distance touring, and then sport riding when you get to your destination, all the while getting 40+ mpg!
