2004 E46 - OBDII readiness - CCM not ready

Hi everyone,

I've got a 2004 325Ci with 192,000 miles on it.

I had some work done on the car in August to fix the dreaded P0171/P0174 errors. The codes were cleared and I've driven the car as normal for roughly 800 miles in the weeks since then. I am due for NC state inspection in September so I'm waiting until all the readiness indicators are cleared so that I can take it in.

I frequently check with my Autel MaxScan OBDII reader to see if the monitors are cleared and there is one stubborn indicator still stuck on "Not Ready" - it is for CCM. I've driven the car with a good mix of city and highway for a considerable time now since clearing anything and for the life of me can't figure out how to get this monitor to reset.

I have seen some posts about doing a "drive cycle", although no two posts seem to be consistent with what exactly to do, and I'm not sure if this is worthwhile since I've already put the car through 800 miles of normal driving (city, highway, even some idling).

I am at my wit's end. Any tips? What sort of behavior will trip the CCM readiness module?
