Introduction and Questions

Hello! This is Mike4Diesel and I am waiting for my 2011 335d to arrive after a european delivery that was excellent. Unfortunately I scuffed the right side wheels (type 195 - sport option) and may be in the market to buy 1 or 2. Also have questions about whether you can do light towing with the car i.e. a 500 lb. basic tent trailer. You see 3 series all over europe towing caravans or trailers, and these are usually 2 liter diesels. The problem may be that BMW of USA doesn't want heavy usage on brakes, etc. since they have a full maintenance program for 4 years or 50K miles. Does anyone know if towing is allowed, and - if not - why.
Thanks for any help on this stuff!
