Question Lowering my 2005 M3 ZCP (Competition Package)

Hello All,

I have been planning on lowering my 2005 M3 Competition Package with lowering springs from www.tirerack.com for cosmetic reasons, mostly. I'm looking to give it that bit more of an aggressive look. I understand that they have two options on their website, and the option I'm most interested in is the set that lowers the front end much lower than the rear end. Anyways, I wouldn't normally be asking this question, but my only concern is that the M3 Comp package has larger wheels and a slightly different suspension. Should this be of any concern before I pull the trigger and order these springs? Has anybody done this before on Comp Package? (I'm worried about tires rubbing, etc)

Again, I want to thank everybody and all enthusiasts for your help and comments.

Thanks!

PS... I don't know why I hesitated to say this the first time, but the spring set I was going towards was the H&R Sport Spring Set.

YOu do have to watch with the BMW front suspension that you do not lower it too much. If you do, you can invert the lower control arm angles and get some truely bizarre handling.

About 3/4" is about all that is recommended.
