Took delivery of my 2011 BMW Z4 30i

I took delivery of my new Z4 today. Mojave Metallic with Walnut interior. Here are some pics. Will post some more tomorrow.

Thank you all. I love the new ride. I used to have a 2008 Z4 3.0si and this car is much more improved than the previous generation.

Hello marcw, I have been a member of the club for the past 3 years or so. Never attended any events, didn' t really know anyone there. Now that we have our own little Z club let me know when the next event is and I would love to join you all.

All events are listed on the website. You should absolutely try to make it to the NW BMW Motorfest in August. I had such a great time last year. There were at least 50 cars there with a great showing from the Pudget Sound chapter as well.

Absolutely amazing color combo! Only complaint I would have is it seems your missing a pedal on the left, LOL....

Beautiful color combination! My wife has similar leather color in her Sapphire Black Metallic 530xi - Auburn leather.

I opted for the automatic to keep the wife happy....I wish I ordered the stick..next time for sure.

I ordered my car March 28 and it went into production first week of April. It was shipped on April 24th and it arrived at Port Oxnard on May 19th on Toledo. Cleared VDC and arrived at my dealer on May 23th which was quite fast. If you ordered it in April why is it taking such a long time to go into production?

Thank you all for your comments. More pics in daylight after installation of the front grills(changed them from black to silver), windows tinted and wind deflector. Walnut color looks very different in different light settings.....

Not sure yet. My wife and I are planning on a roughly 6k miles long road trip going back east in early July. Will have to see how I feel after coming back. I'll definitely be at NW Motorfest though. I had a blast last year. Not to be missed!

Did you have to pay the $2,000 special order fee for that color combination? I was told that doing Mojave + anything other than black or white leather was special order.

No didn't pay anything extra for that combo. Earlier in the year the only interior you could have had with Mojave exterior was extended ivory. They changed that in April.

Do you happen to know what other options are now available with Mojave? I really want either Mojave or Deep Sea Blue with Coral Red interior, but as far as I know both are custom order with an additional fee as of May.

Deep sea blue with coral red interior? Have you seen that combination? I haven't seen it on a Z4 but have seen it on a 5 series, it looked like Superman's car!
