Question E60 with Bluetooth Prep, need help!

Ok, I just picked up my 525i (E60) and noticed this Bluetooth info card in my manual set. Turns out it has the factory Bluetooth prep. I also just recently aquired a Sony Ericson T616 phone with Bluetooth... I have tried searching for the car's bluetooth using the phones interface but have been unsucessful in getting any kind of connection started. Anyone have any instructions, or been sucessful?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Enjoying upgrading from a 3 so far!

Chuck

Bluetooth does not come factory installed and is incompatilbe with BMW Assist which is standard in the 5 series. It appears that people with BMW Assist are getting a Bluetooth Passcard. You may want to read this thread where this issue was discussed.

There are no BT kits for cars that have BMW Assist because they are incompatible. Check this thread and this thread. The compatability chart says that BMW is working on a kit that will work with BMW Assist.
