.35 / Losing pre-set Radio setting???

My .35 is about a week old...I pre-set all my Sat channels, F.M ect.....My wife drove it today and when she got back, all the pre-sets had reverted back to factory resets..Nothing was set. even the Tone setting were back to midline ....
Is anyone having this issue??? Or know why it happens????
Thanks

Was your wife by any chance using a different key than you? I don't have a new X3, but IIRC on our other BMWs each key can have differnt radio station presets.

Thanks
Bruce

Check the driver profile settings. The preferences for this is by driver. Maybe your wife changed it. Suggest you name them -- see page 33 of the manual.

Unless you labelled which key is "yours" then you probably used the wrong key again.... Each key has a driver profile, so your wife can have her own presets using her key and you can have your own presets using your won key as well. If you guys ever switch keys then the presets go along with it. They should change automatically when you switch the keys. The driver profiles include all of your different settings even the way you drive. The computer will begin to "learn" how you drive and average it out through a series of algorithms so it can adjust the throttle response in different situations accordingly. You should have gotten the 2 sets of keys along with some stickers that have like a 1234 ABCD and star, triangle, diamond, square or something like that. Those stickers are not just for decoration, they go on the back of your key where there is a little square space that looks like something could/should go there. Enjoy. (BTW your CA should have told you all of this)

Thanks for the detailed reply.
I did go into profile and labeled each of our keys...So far, so good..
I'll have my wife try her key today.
I'll get back if there are any issues.
