E30 (1982 - 1993)
God's Chariot. The E30 was produced primarily from 1982 through 1991. The cabriolet was the one exception which was produced through 1993. |

Does It Exist?
Hello gents (and ladies), I've come across someone selling a 1982 325e that he says is a two-door. There were no pictures and limited information on the site I saw it. I've researched a bit, but can't find any solid evidence that BMW actually made it. The four-door info comes up, but nothing about two-door... can someone clarify if it exists? TIA

My question is: is there such a thing as a 2-door 1982 325e. Search results are a little squirrelly, since it was the first year of the e30. I will know more when I see the car, but that won't be for another week, when the guy has some time to show me. He has no pictures to send of the car in the meantime. I wanted to do a little homework before-hand so I know what I'm looking at, but I'm flying blind at the moment... TIA (again).

Yes, MY 82 is correct. Thanks markseven.
They made E30s in 1982, and deemed them 1983, just as they now make 2012 models in 2011... but did they make them in 1981, and deem them a 1982 model? Wikipedia notes the e30 was from 1983 to 1993, while our very own site notes the start of the model in 1982. Anyhow, it seems a moot and insignificant point now. I will just have to wait until I see the car this weekend. Carry on. Sent from my ADR6300 using Bimmer App
