ICE train Frankfurt to Brussels
Hi there. A friend is doing ED on June 22, 2011 with a 335is. Should be loads of fun. We are dropping off his car in Frankfurt on Friday, June 24 and taking the ICE train #18 from Frankfurt to Brussels on Sat June 25. I bought train tickets for us, with a final destination of Antwerp, as that is where we need to be on Saturday June 25, but the printed tickets don't say Antwerp anywhere.
The train we need to take is the IC from Brussels to Antwerp. Does anyone know if the Brussels to Antwerp IC portion is included in the cost of the ICE #18 ticket? I bought the tickets from b-europe.com. Thanks for any help.

Here is the schedule (from the Bahn.de website):
LV Frankfurt(Main)Hbf Sa, 25.06.11 dep 06:25 Platform 19 ICE 18 Intercity-Express Bordbistro AR Bruxelles-Nord Sa, 25.06.11 arr 09:27 Transfer time 15 min. LV Bruxelles-Nord Sa, 25.06.11 dep 09:42 IC 2008 Intercity AR Antwerpen Centraal Sa, 25.06.11 arr 10:22 From your description, it is difficult to tell whether your tix includes the Brussels to Antwerp leg. Can you scan the ticket and upload it? Usually there is a second piece of paper with a schedule, platform numbers, etc. Did they provide that?

Here it the ticket
I looked around the website from which I bought the ticket and it appears travel to/from any Belgian station is included in the price of my ICE ticket. I sent the company a note, so we will see what they say. thanks!

Near the top, under the first set of boxes it says:
"Valable a toute gare Belge" This translates to: "Valid to any Belgian station" You should be all set. Bon voyage! (You should ignore my earlier comment about the second piece of paper. That information is in the lower set of boxes that is labeled "Votre reservation(s)." Same detail, just a format different from what I am used to seeing. Look for car #36 and seats 63-66.)

Thanks for the help b-y!
I appreciate the quick response. We will let you all know how the trip goes. I am renting a 1 series from Sixt. Hopefully I get a diesel 5 door. We'll see what they have when we arrive at the Sixt counter.
