coolant issue?
I recently got my car fixed, swapped the engine and the tranny. Everything is running fine now but I noticed something that doesnt look normal. When the car is cold in the mornings the coolant level is low, but when the car is cold after driving it the coolant level goes up. what can cause this issue? the check coolant or check engine light doesn't come on.
also, i noticed something else. whenever you drive the car and you accelerate a little hard the car kicks and then it holds the gear, and then when i gas it really hard the abs light comes on and the dash board shakes. what can cause that? |

The coolant expands when it is warm. If I am not mistaken, your car does not have a coolant level sensor. About the ABS light, you will have to get it scanned and see what codes it is throwing.

i know that it expands but the coolant level is really low, it's between 3 1/2 to 4 inches below the cold level.

Top it off to the cold mark, and bleed your cooling system.
