Update on cooling pipe repair

Hey as u know my cooling pipe went out in my car last friday on June 3....Well just got my car back from imfamous weep hole leak total cost was 2900.00 that included water pump, towing,some hose and sum other things....****** used the all german kit .The weep hole will fail on all models from 2004-2010 because they all have the n62 motors at a certain mileage. And thats sad on these cars...

Sounds like grounds to start a class action lawsuit. Maybe BMW just built the cars, with maintenance in mind! Either way we are screwed.

OUCH! This will make you consider trading before you get too many miles on it. I'm currently at 68K, hope this repair is well down the road. So far, I've never owned a daily driver car that reached 100K miles and I've been fortunate and never spent any big money on repairs...sure hope that luck continues.

Hey guys ouch is what I said but same repair at dealer is anywhere between 6500 to 9000 but I paid 16k for the car and I still love the car,and also my shop showed me a 1995 5 series that had 442415 miles with org.engine and transmisson in car and I was blown away
