Another Alarm installation question.

Hi

I just received the oem alarm kit today. I notice there is a fuse included in the kit. I have search all the DIY file, no one seems to mention where that fuse should be plugged into. So where do I use that fuse? or is it just a spare?

I have that same problem searching on how to do an oil change, what that annoying beep is on cold mornings, and how often to rotate tires...etc. The search is either broken or there's no content on these topics here.

So I did a quick search here trying to help out, so I type in "alarm fuse" as the search term and no where did I ever seen any reference about how the fuse is just a spare. I think the admins should really address the search functionality here. Maybe the search just doesn't work for me, because my buddy did the same search and dug up these threads...

Thanks a lot Hack!
And sorry for keep asking queston like this. I actaully have not received my car, if I have my car in front of me, I would check out the fuse box first. I just want to get ready, so once the come in, I will put it in. The wait is just too paintful, so I have to looked up thing about my new car, and hopefully once it come it, I will know everything about it.

Thanks again!

I have been told the fuse is a spare in case you blow one during installation

Which shouldn't happen because you remembered to disconnect the battery while doing the install, right?

Ahhh, yes, the extra nut and fuse. I actually mention both of them as spares in my DIY...
