Just got an '04 330CI SMG etc. Is it bad to put a GruppeM intake on immediately?

Should I keep the stock intake for the first 1000 miles or so or is it better to get an intake immediately so the car can breath better during break in? Im keeping her under 4K rpm till 1500miles or so and then I will gradually bring the revs up.

I got the 330CI Sport/SMG/Prem/Navi/18"/Zenons/Brushed Alum. Great car, will have pics up this week Im coming from an Audi so the interior is not as great, but the car has a soul unlike the Audi

I'd like to know how the SMG feels and do you like it? Was it what you expected? How does it compare to 6mt?

I don't think it will hurt anything. It should help it breath better, but I don't think that will hurt or help the break in. Just my 2 cents, YMMV.
