xDrive 35i forced induction?

For all you that have a xDrive 35i with the M-Sport or Sports Activity Package, has any one researched about adding some more horsepower/torque? The N55 engine is being tuned in the 3 series and 5 series, but haven't found much info in regards to the new X3. Taking delivery next week and will use my BMWCCA $500 rebate check to 'tune' the N55.

I'm thinking I could also install the BMW 3 series N55 performance tune, as it is the same engine.

Replacing the stock 19 inch rims/all-season RFT's with the 20 inch M style 310 rims with mix performance tires, so I'll have adequate wheel traction to handle the additional torque and the DHP/xDrive would act as a pseudo LSD.

Most of you are thinking why am I doing this, as the X3 is used when I have luggage that will not fit in my E93IS and looking for that tuned performance in both vehicles. Didn't need the size of the X5 M.

Be careful with the warranty issues on any sort of non-BMW tuning.

You breath on it wrong and they use it as an excuse to get out of their all coverage warranty.

I proceed my 2007 E93 N54 and never was noticed by the dealership. Also, had the car in 'limp' a few times and never triggered a error code for the dealership.

Just received this e-mail link from BMW CCA, but for the N54. Hopefully, there will be something for the N55: http://www.modbargains.com/Cobb-AccessPORT-Tuning.htm
