Shark fin delete?
Is there a shark fin delete option on the Z4 (had this done for my 335i)?
If so, could I order the premium stereo with the shark fin delete (that is, premium stereo but not sat radio and lose the shark fin)? Thanks, abmwc |

By shark fin do you mean the bump on the trunk lid? I don't think there is a separate shark fin on the Z4.

The "shark fin" bump is molded into the top of the stop lamp cover.
http://bmwfans.info/parts/catalog/E8.../trunk_lid/#03 I only see one part number for the stop lamp cover at GetBMWParts and at BMWFans, but, I have seen pictures (Like here http://www.dep-o.co.uk/page327.asp ) that seem to show stop lamp covers that don't have the bump on them. I suppose you could remove the antenna that sticks up into the "fin", and replace your stop lamp cover with one that didn't have the bump. |

Thanks for the responses. I thought it was a long shot from the time I posted, but it never hurts to ask.
