Prep at dealership

What occurs at the dealership once vehicle arrives from factory/port before customer picks up? What kind of prepping work is done there before customer picks up their ordered car?

All the plastic is removed from the seats, gearshift and other areas. It is swept, washed and supposed to be waxed (I don't think mine was waxed). Software is installed, it's taken out of transport mode, tires are supposed to be checked for proper inflation just to name a few.

That is a good list of things. How are they going to do everything with the service center closed on the weekends and the car being "rumored" to be on a truck from the port today for me to pick up the car today I wonder........??

Mine came in at the end of the day on a Saturday and they said I couldn't pick it up until Monday at 2pm. The dealer is closed on Sundays and the service center was gone for the day when it arrived. Someone would have to be around to prep the vehicle and get it out of transport mode at bare minimum.
