H&R coilovers

was just about to buy these, wanted to pass this by the board 1st

Is this the only thing I will have to buy to lower my car, no need to buy new shocks because there coilovers right??

I am know noticing there are many different types of H&R coilovers, which ones should I go with for best price??

Well i own a e60. I had h&r and ride was stiff even with softest setting and I only had 1 yr warranty. KW you can imitate a stock suspension ride with being lowered. While you get a lifetime warranty. I also felt with the KW that they were just worth the extra dollars.

i just installed the kw v3's on my 6 and i love the drop and ride quality, you can't go wrong with them

Did you try tirerack.com for the H&R coilovers?

H&R Coilovers are only height adjustable.

KW adds dampening and rebound adjustability.

Is it worth the price differnce? If you care about saving as much ride quality as possible, then yes it is.

Where can you find pricing on KW's and how hard is the install?

if you don't mind a set of used ones, you can probably find someone here on the forums selling their set. Otherwise brand new your looking anywhere from $2,100 - $2,700.

Don't get H&R ..they are very harsh and rough ride. I had an issue with the shocks and the company would not honor their warranty/part. Kept on blaming everything else but the part. H&R customer service is a JOKE. Horrible! Literally sounds like its a 2 person operation. Their quality is CRAP!
I wished I went with KWs...big mistake just to save a few bucks.
