Remeber when the 3 series was only two door?
I'm not sure I like it or not.  So what would the difference be between 4 door 6 and a 7 series?

Actually, they are coming out with the Gran Coupe, which is likely what this is. It is a 4 door coupe like the MB CLS.

That car will only be created to take on the CLS...Don't know if its such a smart move or not, but Audi also has their version with the A7.

Makes no difference to me. Car manufacturers have to refresh the offering periodically, it picks up new customers. So those of us who love the 2 door 6 would not buy it. It takes nothing away from the new 650 convertible in my mind (which I think looks great), just another car selection.
When I had my Boxster everyone freaked out when they announced the Cayman. It sold great. Folks predicted the end of the brand with the introduction of an SUV, again another hit for a period of time. Then the end of the world happened with the Panamera. Again, seems to be doing well.
