Question for M Sport and DHP owners

For those of you how have both the M-Sport and DHP, how often do you drive your DHP in anything else but the Normal setting?

We are about to order an X3 35i with M Sport, Cold Weather, Convenience, Premium, and Technology packages. The question is: Do we go for the DHP? We followed the DHP/M-Sport discussions on this forum and are almost sure we understand the differences.

Thanks.

I'm doing a PCD in the am and have the M SPort with DHP. Will let you know as I plan to also ask at the PC that there is lots of confusion in regards to this.

I got my M sport without DHP.....I'm very happy with it, as is. If you want to play there is plenty of choices....Sport mode, Sport Plus mode....Normal
If you think you need more than that, go with the DHP....Otherwise save your money

The M Sport with DHP will only add variable sport steering, which would be a $1300 option for 2VL. The steer is 'fluid' like on normal mode and becomes firmer with Sport and Sport +. The performance control was great on the BMW PC course on the salon course.

It all depends on your driving style.

My local dealerships (San Diego and 50miles radius) do not have X3 35i's with MSport nor with DHP. The 35i that we drove had the Premium and Tech packages and that's about it. The steering was a bit light for my taste and the suspension was not as stiff as I expected from a BMW. I know it is not a 3-series, but I somehow expected a more spirited drive.

My hope is that the MSport will be an adequate fix, but maybe I have to also add the DHP for the stiffer feel.
