F10 bmw M5 or F01 Alpina B7
If you had the choice would you buy a F10 bmw M5 or F01 bmw Alpina B7??

They are both fantastic sports sedans, but built for different purpose. I can tell you from experience B7’s first and foremost a luxury car, M5 is tuned to be a ultra high performance mid size sedan. So the question you have to ask yourself, do you want a robust sedan with lots of space, comfort, with added performance or an all out assault machine.

Alpina's in the UK loose money far quicker than BMW's, so a big NO from me.

Unless BMW is indeed going to build the M5 AWD my choice would be a SWB B7 X-drive.

Alpina all the way. The car is amazing. But I have to say, parts are "REALLY" expensive for that. I needed to get a new window regulator, which should still be under warranty, and ended up paying almost $600. I should have fixed somewhere else

I'd say before you make this decision, you might want to wait and see how Alpina incorporates the upcoming LCI of the 7-Series. Finally getting the white LED headlamps on the B7 might be worth the wait all by itself.
