Odd LED light on speedometer

I was driving in to work this morning, when I noticed a new LED light showing up near 9 o'clock on the speedometer dial. Anyone know what this light is for? I couldn't find it anywhere in the owner's manual.
Nothing seems wrong with the car. Three months old, 3k mi. Light went off when I turned off the car and didn't come back on when I drove home 8 hours later.

Any ideas?

Yeah, looks like the active cruise setting indicator.

Cruise Control is turned on, but not currently active, like when you step on the brakes before you press "resume". When active the LED will turn Green

If you had moved the cruise control lever upward or downward one more time it would have deactivated it. As you noted, it's also deactivated when you turn off the car.
