Need New Tires for my E34

OK, first off, I still have 15" wheels on my car and don't plan on upgrading. That being said, is there anyone out there who can give me some feedback on what tires you've been happy with?
Oh, after some research I'm down to the Kuhmo KR21's. Oddly, they have great reviews on tirebuyer and lousy ones on tirerack. Go figure.

I plan to purchase 215/60/15's so if any of you still run this size, your feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks!

P.S. Truth be told, I'd love to slap 17" wheels and low profile tires but just don't have the funds for that.

I have the Falcon Ziex 512's on mine and they do great. About 10,000 miles so far and still smooth and grippy. Not bad for a 65,ooo mile rated tire. No noticeable wear and quiet too.

Michelin pilot sport or continental contact. Do not use Chinese or Korean ****.

Thanks guys. So far reviews on the Falkons aren't too good. Many state they are extremely noisy and ride hard.
Thoreau, any particular reason not to use Chinese or Korean?

I have been told Barum is a good choice. I've never heard about them and the few reviews are fair but that they don't last long. At $67 each, it is attractive.

So I decided on General's Altimax HP-215/60/15's
Read lots of good things about this tire from E39 owners. Was informed they are made by Continental and apply the same technology as their Conti tires.

I never knew General was made by Continental. Conti's are excellent tires. I have put 15K on my Extreme-Contacts and they are holding up very well.
