4 bottles of water on passenger seat, BEEP BEEP!

Is there a fix to the overly sensitive occupant sensor on the passenger seat that will always suspect that there is someone sitting there with seat belt not buckled?! Even my Macbook air or my gym bag will cause it to beep!

Buckle the seat belt over the items works for my lunch every day.

NCS Expert. Coded off all beeps completely. No bongs, gongs, peeps or pings, except the 3C ice warning. Somewhat surprisingly I'm not dead yet.

My office suitcase (less than 4 water battles) does the same weird thing. Just do nothing(!), but put the water on the floor, in a basket. BMW dealership's answer!!!...Or buckle the seat belt over the items! But ACHTUNG (attention), you need all the beeps to work properly.

Try an X1 forum, bmwcoding.com or Revtor's NCS Dummy thread for model specific advice.
