2003 325i - Low on oil no leak

Thanks for welcoming me to this forum, I live in GA and I have two BMWs both 325is. Have had one for six yrs and the second for two years.

One of my cars keep running low on oil, I have to top it up at least once a week. Car runs good, no signs of oil leak any where around the engine, any help with this?

Welcome to Bimmerfest! I've moved your question to our E46 3 Series forum, you'll get more help in here. I am guessing your CCV is bad. It is a common maintenance item, search around this forum for more info.

Not a lot of details in your post... Just a keyboard guess, but I'd search CCV / CVV.

Fredo is most likely correct....a failing CVV (and they ALL do, eventually) is the leading cause of excessive oil consumption with these cars....

The last two times I have changed plugs in this car I have found oil in the last two cylinders. will that help with more details? I am going to change the CCV maybe this weekend to see if it helps. Thanks for the suggestion.

How long ago was the valve cover gasket done? The seals that cover the plug wells could be past their time.

It has been a year and a half since the valve cover gasket was done.
