Bmw 318is 1999 Fan Switch

Hi, the fan on my 318is will not switch on as it should do.
It is an intermittent problem as it will work with the aircon on if i wiggle the connector to the switch around.

The fan also works if the connectors are bridged..
Basically i am unsure which part(s) i need to replace..
The temp sensor which screws into the rad, or will it be the connector with the 3 wires going in to it? If so how do i replace this please?

thanks in advance ..

You've already located the problem. If it works when you wiggle the connector, it's got to be either the connector or the switch or both. Try cleaning the connections first.
