Where in the World is Roberto Baggio?

Last post almost a month ago. Does anyone know where he is? I forgot how to rinse my fuel filter and I need to read his explanation one more time.

...Maybe it was my sarcasm that drove him away

I assume it has to do with Ross1's "looking for good advice" thread. not judging either way but I thought he might have been put off by that. But this, of course, is pure speculation.

Wasn't me, he enjoyed the attention.

not to change the subject, but if you look at the trojan situation, the lesson would be ALWAYS look a gift horse in the mouth.

Now I know why I do not have an answer for my battery discharge. Where are you Roberto indeed!

I corresponded with him on July 3rd. He has been having lots of issues with his car but don't know why he's been away from the forum. He was having some problems with a new master cylinder (couldn't get the brakes balanced with the new part) and I hate to think a worst case scenario. Then again, he may be traveling.

Well said, both of you

Hi everyone, and thank you Rick for letting me know that I've been missed. Indeed, my Becky has been giving me LOTS of interesting problems over the past 60 days, but I've been away from the forums due to a major project that I'm working on. I've had to replace the following on my ride within the past 60 days (everything with new parts unless otherwise stated):

1. Fan clutch.
2. Water pump.
3. Engine belts.
4. Engine pulleys (?), which turned out to be perfectly fine.
5. New heater valve.
6. All hoses and clips associated with the heater valve area (total of 4, not cheap).
7. Brake master pump (lucas/girling).
8. Brake booster (lucas/girling).
9. Power steering pump.
10. Have changed the rear pitman arms and
11. Rear differential oil changed to fully synthetic BMW oil.
12. Steering coupling.

Pending work (most of it to be completed within the next 30 days).

13. Front brake rotors. Current ones are warped and I've skimmed the rotors once before.
14. Front brake pads.
(following the above changes, will go for a front wheel braking balance test and if the braking force is still unbalanced, I'll have to get new front callipers - really hope I won't need this.)
15. New a/c resistor.
16. New tensioners and other stuff in the engine area which is causing noise while driving.
17. Need to adjust or purchase a good used internal a/c fan located behind the central console (causes noise when making sharp turns).
18. Nicked my rear left BBS rim so may need to refinish it or ignore it.
19. New front bonnet catch mechanism (am now opening my bonnet using a screwdriver inserted into a specific hole through the front grills - hey I should really put up a post about that.)
20. Alternator needs a rebuild. Beginning to fail. Parts on order.
21. Change my transmission oil, filter and gasket. Have bought the stuff (8 quartz of fully synthetic oil) and its waiting for the job to be done.
22. Broke a valve cover nut, will have to change the whole set out along with the gasket when I do my S50 upgrade. Anyway this will be sorted out within the next 6 months so no hurry.
23. Need to tighten my steering box...there's not much free play now but I feel its a little too light
24. Need to fab a glove compartment hinge and install a new glove compartment damper.

I just reread this list. I think I'm going to update my will and then go kill myself. Bye everyone!
