Talking Couple of things... (Pics!!)

First off, I saw the following car today. It's badged as a 3.0s, which I've never heard of. I talked to the owner and he said that the "s" meant it had luxury options (luxury package) like leather, power windows, etc. Apparently, it was an automatic with a 3.0 liter engine, but the PO swapped in a 3.3 liter and a manual tranny. On the road, it accelerated at a pretty decent clip. It's a '78 or '79, can't remember. Think it looks awesome. Anyone know anything about it??

Also, today I finished installing my alcantara boots. The e-brake boot was pretty hard to get on inside-out with the zip tie and all. I hope I didn't make it too tight/too lose. Does it look right?? I think it looks great and unique with the wood.

While I'm at it, my old e-brake boot is in pretty good condition (the shifter one is done tho). If anyone wants it, shoot me an offer! Here are some pics:

Thanks for lookin!!

The first car is an old '7-series' predecessor - E3. The 3.0 is indeed the M30 that lasted (in upgraded form all the way until early 90s).

s - should mean 'sonder' or luxury in German as in M-B S-klasse (sonderklasse).

I don't like all the m colors everywhere. I even like my seats w/o the stripes... striped seats still look good tho.
