M3 Adaptive Information from Car

I am looking at buying a e46 M3 with approximately 60,000 miles / 93,000 km, in Australia.
On my 2010 X5 in the iDrive I can go into Information and it will tell me when the oil needs changing, front/rear brake pads etc.
Is there any way to do the same on the M3, sequence of button presses etc to get the same information.
I will get my BMW mechanic to check it over also before comiting to buy.

Not exactly.

When you start the car, there is a mileage countdown to the next service. Oil Service or Inspection. Most people here seem to change their oil about mid-run on the countdown.

There are brake pads sensors that tell you that the pads are getting thin, and need replacing, but it is reactive (light comes on when the pads get thin).
