New X3 Deal!

Hey all just wanted to know whether I'm getting a good deal or should I shoot for more. My mother got a X3 28i from factory, just started production on it. I wanted to know whether the price she is paying and what I got them down to is good. The MSRP came to be $46,675 we got 2K off so its now at $44,675, this includes the Premium, Tech, and Cold Weather Package. what do you guys think!

do the BMW Drive event for an extra $1000 off (discount comes from BMW so you should be able to negotiate as normal with the dealer). I ordered by car and found out about the BMW drive event a few days later (i attended anyways, but they wouldnt let me apply the discount).

alright so they said they will go $1,255 over invoice and they will throw in the tint and the all-weather mats, is that good. Other question when the vehicle says that its in production and that it will be completed on july 27 does that mean thats when I will recieve it.

They threw in the all weather mats with mine and a "spa day" for the car. Completed on July 27th means that it will be done at the factory on the 27th. It will then get released to a carrier for delivery within a day or two after that usually. Depending on if you are located on the East coast or West Coast, delivery can take a week to three weeks. Congrats on your order!

BMW X3 already comes with "privacy" tints straight from the factory. If you want more tint than that then that's another story. Even at 1,000 over I am getting all weather mats + cargo liner free. It's your call. You are still getting a better deal than most.

Paid $1100 over. I could of done better at another dealer but I wanted to buy local. In the grand scheme of things a few hundred bucks is not that big of a deal.

What do you mean by saying $750 over invoice? How does this relate to MSRP?

If I get $3000 off, what's my $ over invoice?

When you say your deal is $1000 over invoice, does that include MACO fee or do you pay $1000 over plus MACO?

Invoice is what the dealership pays for the vehicle, best way to find this out is to go to KBB.com and put all the features you got so in my case the car is $46,675 the dealership pays like 42,920 so 1,255 above invoice would be 44,175 hope that makes sense.

MACO is part of the dealers invoice like it or not, but the MACO at this dealership was only 120 or something like that, but I included it in the invoice price and went 1,000 over

Not all dealers participate in MACO so it is not in every dealers invoice. Mine did not have Maco's fees.

True... but this dealer had a good allocation and 120 is not a significant fee compared to some 400 maco fees I have seen on here.

Good point...and always, always deal from invoice. Do not even look at the MSRP, it is their anchor and you should ignore it.
