I just got Comcast's updated app for iPad - and can now watch DVR recordings on the iPad. (the app previously just crashed all the time). It might cut into Netflix a little.

We love Netflix, but when the market tanks, everything will go with it. There's nowhere to hide, except maybe cash.

Growth is speculative. Watch NFLX tanks when the content cost rises.

Today's price increase shows NFLX's management is fully aware of the pain going forward.

I 've been watching... and I have yet to see the "TANK"..

It has been 8+ Month and I have watching and and laughing at every Armangedon prediction on NFLX ...

i.e.:
1)" AMZN and GOOG will get in the game and kick NFLX's ass... stock will collapse!!.."

Me: Cool!! I own AMZN and GOOG and I hope they get in the game ..

Reality: NFLX goes Up... and AMZn Goes up Me

2)".. Content price will go up.. It has to!!.."

Me: Humm.. Okay... That's cool!! If cost goes up and pricing has to go up. $7.99/month is too cheap ANYWAYS!! People will pay $12 without hesitation.

Reality: NFLX goes up 2 steps fwd and 1 step back... everyday!! Me

Look, I am not saying NFLX will go up forever... but until a real challenge comes along.. I am not gonna argue with "up $10 on a market down day" nor am I gonna argue with new 52 High every 6 trading days..

Netflix just raised prices 33% and we are dropping the streaming portion to save $8/month. I'm sure we're not alone.

GOOG and the other two are different animals. I would be on burnt if I bought the rest. I have bought 1 contract of NFLX put when it's at 300 however, will see how it goes when it reports next week. It will only be a small loss for me if it goes up, but the return could be pretty good.

I've been debating to get into the GOOG call option and decided to pass. I knew it would be a major swing but was not confident which way it goes - downside because of the additional headcount and possible disappointment (simply meet expectations); upside because of Google+ gaining momentum and possible beat.

One of those could have, should have. Oh well...

SINA's high P/E cannot be justified, the rev and profit growth is almost flat, but people got excited yesterday by the news that SINA will introduce Weibi on Weibo... made a little on the call, but I'm getting out soon.

Those that bought the Google $590 calls today just struck the lotto.

Volaitlity is very good for making money. Only buy them on the big drops and dips. So far this last month of so there has been good money if one bought on these dips.
Keep a daily eye on them and watch the bounces after the dips.
