seems strange and coincidental that this big drop happened on obama's 50'th bday. like some people are sending a message to the world that they are in control and can flex it at anytime.

1,2 or 3 big firms must have hit the sell button or maybe even the FED its self wanted their money back from POMO so they hit the sell button.

Funny how the news only focuses on the market drop but not who hit the big sell button.

Looks like the market is set for a rebound due to the job report.

That's quick, the 150pt gain is history.

You guys seen this website? Kinda cool - you just have to click accept to see the recommended stoplosses.

http://www.smartstops.net/PublicPage...spx?symbol=SPY

Limit is 2 free ones per day though.

Guess the market wasn't impressed by a lot of added McDonald's jobs.

If the bounce or rebound can be guessed right where one were to buy SPY calls it
Should be very rewarding. Calling a temporary bottom won't be easy. My guess is -2% more losses from yesterday's close before we see a temporary bounce unless we are in full crash mode.

Keep in mind that options expire today so that swing may have had a good role in today's bounce from -200 to +100. Today should have been an easy play but I woke up a bit late to play the SPY calls

So we all know the bull's dead, economy's not good and the market sucks even worse and I hate to agree with the politicians, but why would someone take S&P seriously when they fail to calculate 1 + 1?

Opened NFLX 200 call last Friday again... beewang's gonna hate me

Edit: Closed again, time to look for some calls... AAPL maybe?

If today's crash is due to S&P, why are Treasuries rallying? This is really just a continuation of the "all news is bad except QE3" market correction.

The battery size doesn't matter for now, but the money's gotta go somewhere when the market selloff.

I've been saying it since 2008, "It's the psychology, stupid!"

(And people don't like holding cash or Farmville credits)

S&P's Downgrade Madness

S&P has just changed US's battery size from AAA to AA(+)

It has also downgraded Freddic and Fannie

They're also planning on downgrading MUNI ratings

Next up - your credit scores will also be cut

Consequences - Your kids' GPA in college will also needs to be reviewed, because 1+1=4, not 2.

Probably helping my SKF go up 11%, if they're even still in the ETF.
