Question 2008 535i - Where can I purchase OEM MTECH Body Kit Package?

Hey Guys,

I have a 2008 535i w/PDC and cold weather package. I'm looking for the OEM MTECH body kit package for my car. I believe Part# 51 71 0 429 409. My local dealership (parts) is telling me this is discontinued. They told me Germany does not supply them anymore. Does anyone know where I can get this OEM? I've searched through the forum and only found replica's for sale. I can't imagine there isn't a OEM kit sitting on a shelf waiting to be purchased somewhere!

Thanks,

MTM

The website getbmwparts.com may have it. There is a vendor on 5series.net (bimmerzone.com) that is also selling it. He did a post recently (note: I haven't worked with them or bought from them but they seem pretty legit):

M-Tech body kit

Installed mine 3 months ago.

Ordered mine from BAVARIN AUTO (call in). Keep in mind the the rear bumper PDC holders are deeper than the OEM bumper (if not...major recess that triggers PDC alarm).

Also...ensure fogligght connectors for front bumper connects properly to the M5 projector housings (still working through this issues).

Trying to upload pics from ipad2

Best of luck... Loving my upgrade.
