Hi! Question about code P1749...

Hi. Does anybody know how to replace a secondary pressure solenoid? What parts need to be replaced? It's a BMW 2000 528i. (code P1749).

I moved your thread over to the E39 forum. You'll need to drop the transmission pan and change out the faulty solenoid. Search around, this seems to be a semi-common problem. Not sure what transmission is in your car so this may or may not help -
