Who here is tracking their cars
So... I took my m3 to the track today. Although a bit scary because I only ha the car for a week and I'm not so used to it and also because it was my first time to ever go to the track, it was awesome. You really learn how powerful those cars are when you are out there.
Now, I don't think I will be doing his every week but probably 4-5 times a year. Was just wandering who else here is taking their cars to the track

1800 miles on mine when I first took it to the track.
12 Track days ( plus 10 autocross days) this year so far with 2 more days coming up next weekend. Winter is coming so the season is almost over for us northerners ( ice racing anyone?). |

If your in Socal you should check out MRRP (meet rally race party). It is only a few times a year but its really fun. They track at El Toro (Where top gear films). I tracked at the last one and had a blast. They had a road course, slalom, and 1/8th mile breaking challenge. I also did a caravan to a small targa trophy rally to the track. I destroyed my tires though, definitely worth it! But here in SD we also have scca and bmwcca.
