Euro Delivery?

Question on how this works...I am considering a 550xi M Sport and from everything I've seen, I can probably get it for ~$500 over invoice. The car I would build is about $73k MSRP with a predicted purchase price of $68k. Seeing as the $68k is close to MSRP of Euro-Delivery, can I negotiate that down as well?

Ultimately I'd like to think that the negotiated price of $68k stateside could translate into $64k or so with Euro Delivery...otherwise, the allure of traveling to Munich loses some of its luster if the cost of the trip isn't offset by the lower price of the car.

The Euro Delivery forum is your friend, but basically expect ED invoice to be 91% of USA Invoice.

If you use the formula in this thread, it will get you into the ballpark. Some dealers do better than others, so it pays to shop around if you are going to do ED.

Post #13 -- plug in your own figures. Good luck. ED is great. I saved $7K over dealer MSRP on my 535ix.

Dammit you're right, apologies for not seeing the dedicated forum. Thanks for the link. I'll do some more research there but basically whatever price I can agree to here looks like it will translate there.
