BMW 330I battery replacement

I went to Autozone to purchase the DL49. One of the employees offered to install it for me.
He told me I did not need to vent it and I do not know what he did with the right brake light wires because my brake light indicator is now on. I have a blue and a black wire that are not attached to anything. Any ideas?
