Sunscreen only partially retracts

My sunscreen only partially retracts, is there a reset or an manual override to retract it the rest of the way? I just bought an X5 and do not even know if the pano roof operates at this point.

Older and poorly maintained pano roofs are troublesome. Do you have any warranty? Use it.

Or maybe
Sunroof or retractable windows screens on rear?

Press IN (up) the button that activates the roof and hold it. After about 60 or 90 seconds, it will cycle through all positions and motions. Continue to hold the button until it stops moving. This is the "reboot" process.

ditto Thrillcat in regards to reset/reinitialization and/or manual operation of the Pano sunroof. But if the inerior sunshade panel/sunscreen panel is stuck...you may need to deal with that first:
