2011 LCI Tailights?

Bad news today for my 09 M3 coupe. I backed into a sign due to negligence (and limo tint at night, couldnt see ****) and i broke the housing on one of my tailamps! So i decided instead of buying the same standard tailight, naybe i could put the new 2011 LCI tailights on my car. EAS has them for $600 but they say it will cause a flicker unless i get it coded...? And even with the included PNP harness, im going to have to also buy a FRM3 module? All sounds expensive :/ please help.


Also, does anyone know a site that sells bumpers?

you dont need to buy a FRM3 module.... eas can code it without it... dont know why they told you you need it... although dealer will ask you to buy the FRM3 module but any autologic shops like EAS can do it without it.

can anyone tell me what bulb/led type is used on the 6 series that give off that "line" glow in the tailight? are they leds mounted at each end and that reflect across a tube or are they CFL tubes?
