Check Engine Light

So yesterday she drove her X3 as usual and when she got home the check Engine light came on, its only been 6 days of use and already a problem has arised, anybody got any idea what it could be.

If you don't have an OBD2 Code Reader then the first thing to do is to check for a loose gas cap.
