That is what came on the car.
Sadly If you look closely the Zender front lip is all busted up (by previous owner).
I'm just going to paint the trim back the way it is suppose to be on the car to make it look some what decent until I can get a different front bumper and side skirts for it.
Know anyone that would be interested in buying it all I'll sale it Cheap!

That is what I'm doing. Repainting the trim that is suppose to be black. (previous owner went a little blue crazy)
The blue paint on it is crap but I'll just deal with that until I can afford a real paint job.

No no I don't know what the previous owners painted it with.
It is a factory silver car. They told me that they repainted it because
the clear was peeling of the roof. Really wish they wouldn't have.
A little wet sanding and some clear it would have been perfect!

I'm planning on sanding it down and getting it painted white,
maybe sometime after Christmas. I'm just trying to make it look decent until I get
done putting my Volkswagen back together. Then the BMW will get done over!

I learned that repainting my car a different color was a dumb decision.

It's a good excuse to strip the whole car out and do all of the rust work that has been hiding in your engine bay/under carpets/headliner/trunk.

I went with Saint black for all the trim. Just to make it look more
like new black plastic. I was afraid the Gloss would make it look to painted? LoL

2 cents, painting trim hi gloss will result in you repainting your trim every time somebody taps it.

The reason the trim is unpainted is because if somebody taps you it will not be that visible, while on paint it will show up as a sore thumb. And you can simply take high grid sand paper/acetone and buff it out any time you want.

I would just sanded the trim down then polish it with 3000 grit or something until it's smooth and even.

Cool pics, I love body work. For the black trim I recommend Duplicolor bumper and trim paint - it goes on easy even out of a rattle can, dries quickly and dries to a matte finish. Not too glossy and yet not flat, either. And easy to blend when you need to touch-up.
