front driver door popped opened during driving!!!
i have 2005 530i, first owner, car's been great, not much of an issue so far.... until when the front driver door lock started delay in auto-lock system compared to other 3 door locks.
the front passenger door auto locks fine, it is just slower than the others. then on last saturday, i was driving 35-40 miles an hour on a bad bumpy road, suddenly the front passenger door pops opened and the "door open" signal immediately came up!!!! I held the door in until the red signal, and closed the door again. has anyone experienced this type of problem???? it seems the driver side door wasnt complete locked in auto system, and bumpy ride somehow unlocked it... i took my car to a local dealership and was told it is the bad actuator, costs $500.00 to fix it.. but i feel it should be free... what u guys think? this is scary ppl!
