Exclamation The *OFFICIAL* AVENTADOR Thread!

This car is so amazing that I have not seen it in ANY shade/color that is absolutely not STUNNING:

The partnership with AUDI has certainly yielded much WIN for the Italian Bull.

Definitely a looker but for me it has too many edges. It doesn't flow well, but hell, who cares, I bet it's an amazing drive and will definitely make you stand out wherever you go. I like the idea of aggressive lines but these almost cut you by just looking at them.

Let's see when Mike get's to take it for a spin...

Serious this time:

The car reminds me both of some recent French concept cars and stealth aircraft. It certainly looks like a modern supercar.

Not my style at all. The matt black finish doesn't help.

I prefer Pininfarina and Italdesign-Giugairo. Giugairo designed a few BMWs including the M1.

i like everything about it but the interior. it is basically just an audi interior which seems kind of cheap for a supercar.

Audi + Cheap Interior = Not Happening!

It is widely known and accepted they make some of the BEST interiors in the Automotive world! So they only did justice to Lambo.

i meant that it is cheap to just take an interior from one brand and put it in another, much more expensive, brand.

plus the acceptance of audis interior as being the best is personal opinion. i had an audi and preferred the simple design of bmw over it.

When I cross-shopped the A4 before I bought the 3er I came to the same conclusion. Sitting in the Audi, it felt that no matter where I waved my hand, it came across 2-4 buttons. I thought it felt and looked nice, but it was sensory overload in my opinion.

At least for the upcoming models they realized how ridiculous their speedometer was.

Saw this beast at Cars and Coffee this weekend. I have to say I was not that excited about the styling on pictures, but is it impressive in person. What a car. This one had a MSRP in the window of $407k. I am not sure if that is what they'd sell it for though, considering only 4,000 will be made.

I missed its arrival or departure, unfortunately. Would have loved to hear it running.

My step cousin went airborne in a Lambo off the 101 but the flight was fatal. Maybe that's why I don't like their cars.

Real aircraft? Who knows? Ferrari has been a major owner of Piaggio Aero for years.

Temporary clear bra for the track? You would've thought with that money they would've actually bought one for the car...either way this thread is still pure AWESOME.

Now you can just get the Unica for track days and the Aventador for street use!

I saw a black Aventador on the street this afternoon while walking the dog. It was in traffic and turned right at the stop sign I was near. Not quite as impressing looking as a Murcielago, but better than the Diablo. The driver was kind enough to step on it after the corner so we could all hear the V-12.

See (or at least hear if I'm inside) one of those almost every day as it flies directly over my house, and I'm about 7 miles from the airport. The rear mounted propellers gives it a very distinctive (and annoying) sound as they cut through the turbulent air off the wing.

This past weekend I spoke to a professional race driver who has competed in a very wide variety of cars (winner of the LeMans 24 h, our, 2nd place Indy 500, competed in the Baja 500, Nascar, etc.) and now specializes in testing upscale cars that are being brought to market

He had recently test driven an Adventador and was not impressed. He was particualy critical of the transmission which he said shifted so roughly that it upset the car. He also said that the other test drivers agreed.
