Power seat and steering wheel.
Recently in my 02 540 my power drivers seat and power stering wheel (telescoping and tilt) stopped working. The fuses looked good and I can't figure out why they just stopped.
Any help would be apreciated. Sent from my SPH-D700 using Bimmer |

My '99 528 just did the same thing. Passenger seat is not affected. There has to be a relay somewhere that is cutting out. At first it was intermittent, but now both have quit altogether.

Hey guys this happens to me all the time. The fix is stupidly simple! The plug that goes to the controls. From the seat has come loose on both your cars. Pull on the control panel a little bit andd you'll see the plug. Just push it back in. For some reason the steering wheel is also affected when this happens. Re plugging will fix both problems. Wow. Finally a question I had the answer to.
