VPC / Hurricane Irene

My car came off the Asian Emperor last Thursday, so it was in NJ at the time Hurricane Irene hit. Anybody else similarly situated? Please post any information you get from your dealer about car status -- let's keep each other informed.

Bimmerfest should really have an "Anticipation" forum so people ordering all models of car can kibitz in the same place. I think there are some 3 buyers here with cars on the tarmac, like nightmarecinema.

My 128i coupe was also on the Asian Emperor that arrived in NYC last Thursday. I was told by my dealer today that my car had no damage, was released to the carrier and is scheduled to arrive at the dealer late Wed. I figured it wouldn't be at the dealer that soon if there were an issue that had to be fixed. That was a relief after seeing all the flooding images from NJ. The VPC in Jersey City is right on the water (not sure how elevated the dock is).

Looking forward to picking it up later this week.
