Hi anyone know what Engine Oil recommendations are for the new 35D engine please?.

No but I sure wish that we could get one over here! The oil specs should be in the owner's manual.

The oil should meet the BMW LL-04 specs in the viscosities: 0W-30 or 0W-40, 5W-30 or 5W-40.

Amsoil now markets a synthetic meeting the LL-04 standard. Its called
AMSOIL European Car Formula Synthetic 5W-30 Motor Oil

Also Mobil makes a LL-04 synthetic. Its marketed as Mobil 1 ESP Formula 5W-30.

The OP lives in the UK where there are many choices of LL-04 motor oil.

I know that the indy shop I used to use in Dulles, VA sold Motul motor oil that met the spec as well, forgot which viscosity.
